Mikumi is a town in the Morogoro region adjacent to the National park bearing the same name. This park is in the southern part of the country as opposed to the popular northern parks of Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It is at the cross roads to the Ruaha river valley and Kilombero sugar factory, and the southern highland regions of Iringa and Mbeya. It is near the larger town of Kidodi. Kidodi is near a railway station and junction of the Tanzania Railway Corporation
DAY 1 - ZANZIBAR / DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI
Departure Zanzibar / Dar es Salaam at 0700Hours from the airport with our diver/guide to Mikumi by 4x4, Arrival in the Park after 4/5 hours depending on the traffic on the highway, lunch at Morongoro Town then drive into Mikumi National Park. You will do the game drive till late in the evening dinner and overnight at the Lodge inside the Park.
DAY 2 - FULL DAY GAME DRIVE TO MIKUMI
After breakfast full-day game drive in the park, see the beauty of Mikumi National Park, and get to see many animals like elephants, giraffes, wild dogs, Lions, Antelopes, and many more dinners and overnight at your lodge inside.
DAY 3 - MIKUMI TO DAR ES SALAAM / ZANZIBAR
Early morning sunrise game drive in Mikumi National Park then you will be back to your lodge for breakfast, after breakfast you will do a game drive till afternoon. Drive back to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro town for your lunch proceeding to Dar es Salaam arrival at 17:00hrs
