SHORT OVERVIEW
This 2-day safari from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park offers a perfect short wildlife adventure. The journey begins with a flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi, where you will meet your professional safari guide and enjoy an exciting game drive through the parkβs scenic plains, home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and many other animals. After a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive, you will spend the night at a comfortable lodge inside or near the park. On the second day, you will start with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active, followed by breakfast before returning to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, completing a memorable two-day safari experience.

Day 1: Zanzibar β Mikumi National Park
Your safari begins with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar, followed by a transfer to Abeid Amani Karume Airport for your domestic flight to Mikumi. Upon arrival, our professional guide will greet you and provide a briefing before starting your first thrilling game drive. Explore the parkβs stunning landscapes and spot wildlife in their natural habitat, from elephants and giraffes to zebras and antelopes. A picnic lunch with non-alcoholic beverages will be served during the day. Continue your game drive into the late afternoon, enjoying the breathtaking scenery before checking in at your Comfortable for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Mikumi β Zanzibar
Begin your day with an early morning game drive to see wildlife at its most active, capturing unforgettable views of the park in the soft morning light. Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast and check-out. You will then be transferred to the local airstrip for your domestic flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume Airport, you will be met by our driver for a smooth transfer back to your hotel or accommodation, concluding your 2-day Mikumi safari with memories of Tanzaniaβs incredible wildlife and landscapes.
