If you like to immerse yourself in the Tanzanian local culture, head to the Wanyambo Festival in Dar es Salaam in January. Hundreds of people join this 4-days festival each year that takes place at the Makumbusho Village Museum in Dar es Salaam. A cultural get-together with traditional dances, music, costumes, art, craft and food of the region.
