Our 2-day Safari from the Island of Zanzibar to Selous (Nyerere) National Park-one of Africaβs largest Protected Areas offers views of numerous exceptional wildlife species that you might not find in other parts of the Continent. With just 2 days /1 night, you will be able to discover almost everything that the African wilderness offers.
Unlike other protected areas like Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, and many others that draw crowds, Nyerere National Park enjoys seclusion and no crowds.
DAY 1 : Dar es Salaam β Saadani national park
Your driver guide in a 4Γ4 pop-up roof land cruiser shall pick you up from your hotel or airport in Dar at 8:00 am. Drive you to Saadani national park where you shall arrive at 11:00 am. Have your lunch and go for afternoon boat safari along the Wami river and get to see hippos snorting in the water, elephants along the river, and crocodiles. Return to the beach in the late afternoon for beach excursions and barbecue. Enjoy your day at the beach until evening. Dinner will be served at 7:30 pm and then overnight at Saadani park hotel. Meal plan (lunch + dinner)
DAY 2 : Saadani national park β Dar es Salaam:
Breakfast will be at 7:00 am, at 8:00 am you shall go for game drive in the park where you shall see waterbucks, warthogs, eland, buffaloes, giraffes elephants and velvet monkeys. Have your lunch 12:30 pm and drive back to Dar for drop off at your hotel or airport. End of tour. Meal plan (breakfast + lunch)
