Day 1 - Arrival & Arusha City Tour
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha airport, your guide will welcome you and transfer you at your hotel in Arusha, After check-in and a short rest, enjoy a relaxing city tour exploring key landmarks like the Maasai Market, the Arusha Clock Tower and the Natural History Museum. You’ll also have a chance to visit local coffee shops or a cultural center to discover Tanzanian art and crafts. In the evening, return to your  hotel for dinner and a restful night before your safari begins.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, a beautifully wild landscape known for its ancient baobab trees and massive elephant herds. Once inside the park, enjoy a full afternoon game drive where you might spot giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, lions, and more. Tarangire is also a bird lover’s paradise, with over 500 species recorded. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your exploration.

Early breakfast and embark on a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most iconic safari destination. You’ll pass through traditional Maasai lands and stop at viewing points before entering the vast plains of the Serengeti. Enjoy game viewing and take in the incredible openness of the landscape, often dotted with giraffes, gazelles, and big cats.

Wake up with the sun and set out for a thrilling day of wildlife exploration in Serengeti. The park is teeming with wildlife year-round, and depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains. Your guide will lead both morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino — along with cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and more. Between drives, enjoy lunch in the bush or at the camp, followed by some rest before heading back out to see the wildlife in the golden evening light.

Early morning game drive in Serengeti and a hearty breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, traveling through the highlands with more chances to spot wildlife along the way. You’ll reach the crater rim by late afternoon, just in time for an incredible view of the caldera from above. Optional stopovers include a visit to a Maasai village or Olduvai Gorge (a famous archaeological site).

Early morning descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a good game drive on the crater floor, home to black rhinos, lions, hippos, hyenas, elephants, flamingos, and more. With its lush grasslands, forest patches, and soda lake, the crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, ascend the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha.
