itinerary
DAY 1 - Arrival - Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be met and greeted by our airport office representative who will assist you in case of visa or any passport control issues. After that, we will welcome you to our office for the refreshments where you will meet your guide then be transferred to Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.
Arusha is a city in East Africa’s Tanzania, located at the base of volcanic Mt. Meru. It’s a gateway to safari destinations and to Africa’s highest peak 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro, lying some 100 kilometers northeast.
Accommodation:
Gran Melia Arusha
DAY 2 - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the hotel and a short safari briefing, depart and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive in the park until lunchtime. Your driver will set and prepare the table for a full hot meal of soup, bread rolls, the main dish and fruits salad, followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. After lunch, continue with a game drive until evening when you’ll drive to the lodge for the dinner and your overnight stay.
The Park is located slightly off the main safari route. Tarangire National Park is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania that is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and quiet authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travelers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for a matter of hours leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched.
Accommodation:
Elewana Tarangire Treetops
DAY 3 - Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzaniaβs birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favoured haunt of Manyaraβs legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.
Accommodation:
Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro
DAY 4 - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart to Serengeti National Park in central Seronera Area game drive until lunchtime when your driver will set and prepare the table for a full hot lunch meal, soup, bread rolls, main dish and fruits salad, followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. After lunch, continue with a game drive until evening when you’ll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.
Serengeti National Park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the “Big Five”, named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters. Lion: the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African Leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park with a population of around 1,000.

Upon arrival, youβll descend into the crater floor for a half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to all of the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards) and other animals like wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and a variety of bird species, including flamingos.
