DAY 1: Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park, Boat and Village Tour
Your safari begins with an early morning transfer from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park, followed by a warm welcome and briefing from your guide. You will enjoy a boat tour along the river, where you may see hippos, crocodiles, and many birds in their natural home. After this, you continue with a visit to a nearby local village to learn about daily life and culture. A picnic lunch is provided in a safe scenic area. In the afternoon, you start a relaxed game drive as you enter the park, enjoying wildlife viewing for several hours until evening. Later, you are transferred to your accommodation close to the park’s time limits for dinner and overnight rest ready for next day’s safari adventure.

DAY 2: Full Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park
Today you spend a full day exploring Nyerere National Park on extended game drives starting early in the morning. Your guide takes you through different habitats including open plains, river areas, and woodlands in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, and many other animals. The game drive continues for several hours with enough time for photography and enjoying nature at a relaxed pace. A picnic lunch is served in a safe shaded area inside the park, allowing you to rest while still surrounded by wildlife sounds. In the late afternoon, you continue your game drive until park limit hours, maximizing wildlife sightings before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest in peaceful natural surroundings.

Today you enjoy another full day in Nyerere National Park exploring different routes that offer new landscapes and wildlife sightings. The morning game drive takes you through less visited areas where you may see predators, grazing animals, and many bird species. Your guide ensures enough time is spent at key locations for photography and learning about the ecosystem. A picnic lunch is enjoyed in a designated safe area, giving you time to relax and refresh. In the afternoon, you continue with more wildlife viewing before visiting natural hot springs, where you can take in the calm environment. Later, you proceed with a final game drive close to the park’s time limits before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Return Flight Ruaha to Zanzibar
Today you start with an early morning walking safari in Nyerere National Park, guided by an experienced ranger who helps you observe nature on foot. This activity gives you a closer understanding of tracks, plants, birds, and smaller wildlife that are often missed during game drives. The walk is calm and takes place in safe areas while still offering chances to see larger animals at a distance. After the walking safari, you return for a light refreshment before transferring to the airstrip. You then take your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar, enjoying aerial views of the landscape below.
